i have tried to find some info as i have never seen a pink one b4... Apparently the pink color is the result of a condition called erythrism, similar to a recessive gene that afflicts albino animals..

This katydid is a rare pink color variation of the green katydid.
It is a nymph (young) and will develop wings when it matures
