Nest

Description:

Small cup nest about 8 feet in the air on a lateral branch. Spiderweb silk attaches it to the branch and it is decorated with lichen.

Habitat:

This small nest is in one of the trees lining a small urban park.

Notes:

There are several Black-chin Hummingbirds in the area. The height and material used are consistent with this bird.

I also agree! It has all the aspect of a hummingbirds' nest. So pretty!
