Description:

Brightly colored arachnid approximately 2 cm. in length.

Habitat:

Found in forested woodlands. Semi-arboreal to arboreal, these little guys seem to prefer being elevated off the ground as much as possible

Notes:

Harmless to humans. Diet consists of smaller insects.

This little guy is completely harmless, Christine. Jumping spiders are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. They look like muppets!

I have never seen anything like it. Is it venomous?
