Nuttalls blister beetle

Description:

This beetle was very shiny. Purple red on top and green under. Slow moving and didn't seem afraid.

Habitat:

I found him in my father in laws driveway.

Notes:

I've never seen a beetle like this one.

I believe this is a species of Blister Beetle. Possibly Nuttall's Blister Beetle - Lytta nuttalli.
