Description:

The Gray-bellied Antbird (Myrmeciza pelzelni) is a recently rediscovered species distributed in a tiny range confined to the Orinoco-Negro White-sand Forests (between NW Brazil, E Colombia and S Venezuela). Forages alone or in pairs almost entirely on the ground and walks a zigzag route, feeding on insects and spiders.
