Oriental White-eye

Zosterops palpebrosus

Description:

A very cute little bird with a lovely white eye ring!

Habitat:

Gardens and wooded areas

Notes:

I usually find them in flocks in the mornings, doing a leaf tumble dancing or gliding around the leaves of gulmohar trees. Nowadays I see them in my garden too. It is wonderful that most birds in the area seem to like visiting my garden and yard and that explains why one finds the same garden metal railing in most of my pics :)

Love these guys. So much like our Silvereyes. They make India feel like home. :-)
