Sparrow sized flycatcher, dark-grey bird overall, with orange-red rump and tail.
Seen in outskirts of a mountain town and ski-station, on slopes of Jura Range, where it descends and forms the valley of Valserine; in Jura Regional Wildlife Park and on edges of Jura Reserve. All around the town there are mountain meadows & pasture, surrounded by mainly coniferous forest. .
