Family: Notodontidae (Prominent moth) A common stout, fuzzy noctuid moth. TL 23-25 mm. FW is variably gray to green with brown and a splash of orange. Waved markings are dull. Wavy ST line is dotted. Hosts: Trees and woody plants including apple, willow and hicktory.
Woodlands and established gardens. Attracted to light.
