The yellow legged frog is small warty frog found near running water. There were several individuals in the group. This is a threatened species

Habitat:

seasonal spring at edge of road

Notes:

#3 hiding in slime was a different individual, however, they all appeared to have matured at about the same time

Thanks for the ID! There were probably half a dozen to a dozen along this road at the entrance to a national park.

Very nice spot. This frog is listed as "Near Threatened" in CA by the World Conservation Union. It is rare spots like these that make a big impact in the protection of imperiled species :)
