Hispinae
It is about 3-4mm in diameter and what made me to spot it is when it was flying slowly among the tall grass blades and it looks like a tiny speck of yellow neon lights hovering .The pattern is in the color of bright yellow and lined in electric green and a base in black. The clear shell is noticeable around the skirting of the body.

Thank you my friend Asergio. I stopped taking chemotherapy and Isotope radiation for the last 6 months because of the side effects. Doing alternative treatments via herbal usage in Indonesia and its working real good.
Julio, how good it is to know you are around. I hope you are ok. Beautiful beetle and photo, congratulations.
I am having problems uploading more spotting. Image does not appear on frame after loading and more frames appeared without loading. Need to consult support team.
It looked great that morning. It was flapping the wings in slow flight and that is when i noticed the bright yellow neon like lights in the air.glad that it settled down and i took a quick shot at it and then it flew further.Thank you and it is good to chat with you Leuba.
sorry about the link Julio, I obviously didn't read your description properly. Your beetle must have looked fantastic. By the way -it's good to hear from you ...
Leuba, i don't think it's the same on the link that you provided.
Morning Leuba. That is indeed lovely. I don't really know but the one i spotted had the pattern more like a brain and the yellow was very prominent with thin greenish lining around it.
Could it be a similar one to this, by TanKian Yong

Although the black spots on your beetle look more prominent..I love the colour.
Morning . Could do with some help from anyone who knows the exact specie of this Tortoise beetle.
Thank you OnengDyah and my Salaam to you.
It' s great picture Julio, very clearly, nice colour.
Probably 3-4mm . I would not have spotted it if it wasn't flying and the flapping wings in yellow created the neon like effect.
How big it 'is..? I think' s it's tiny..right.?
Hi OnengDyah . I think so too.
Cute beetle,...
