Description:

scales keeled.two dorso-laterla stripes seen along the body which is evident on hinder part of the body.scales 19 in row.lips yellow in color. In typical from the later parts have blueish-grey coloration.diurnal in nature.if threatened may raise narrow hood like cobra.

Habitat:

mainly grassland.it was spotted near paddy field.
