Clipper Butterfly Caterpillar

Description:

A yellowish brown caterpillar covered with dark purple spines all over the body. It feeds on Adenia palmata and Tinospora cordifolia. This is an eight days old catterpillar on the twelfth day (the last day in the caterpillar phase) The color will change to pale green and the white stripes on both sides will be prominently visible.

Habitat:

Tropical forrest , usually on partly shaded and higher altitude areas.
