Description:

Photo take at my backyard this beauty land on a lantana flower looking for nectar. Brown color whit white stripes and dots and also a red mark under the stripes, about 10 cm wingspan.Upperside is brown. Forewing has cream or white median and submarginal bands. Hindwing has a cream or white submarginal band and a broken red median band.

Habitat:

Subtropical open and disturbed areas such as fields, weedy places, orchards, and second growth. found in the southern United States, Mexico, and Central America.
