uncertain fish

Description:

Silver fish with black stripes and reddish highlights.

Habitat:

Spotted on a reef just off shore from the Costa Rican town of Punta Uva on the Caribbean coast.

Notes:

The water was very difficult to see through, and the waves over the reef were very big. Sometimes the water level would drop and a large portion of coral would appear just an inch or two from my face. Not exactly fun, but definitely exciting.
