This larvae sits motionless, hanging off the back of a leaf. There is a white stripe down the side. The last image shows the size compared to a finger.

That's great you saw a Barn Owl! This is only my second spotting of a Casebearer. They're not easy to spot. BTW, they found the girl and she's ok :)

have been looking for one of these !
I finally saw a barn owl in the wild. Was too dark for my camera.After 3 years of searching!!
