Great Southern White Butterfly

Description:

There were no spots on the inner top surface of the forewing. There were light brown edges on the top surface of the forewings. The antennas had light blue tips.

Habitat:

This butterfly was seen in northeastern Florida on the coast enjoying the local flowers.

Yours appears to be a male. The Great Southern White's antennae have a distinctive blue tip. Males are always white, females may be white, gray or an intermediate color.
