Description:

Tawny, brown Northern Bobwhite chick.

Habitat:

Grasslands, roadsides, fields.

Notes:

Brought into N.B. Forrest State Park by woman who found it after recent flooding. Was taken by park staff to local farm where Northern Bobwhites are raised for release.

Not blind but actually it is sleeping. It loved the warmth of having a hand cupping it and fell instantly to sleep.
