Passiflora incarnata

Description:

Intricate flower with a lacy layer and ovious pronounced stamen. Also produces edible oviod fruits. Butterflies prefer the purple flower over the Red Passion flower.

Habitat:

Can be found all through Florida and much of the South and central US. Old Fields, roadsides, Gardens.

BEAUTIFUL!!! I just found out this weekend that I can actually grow this here in Oklahoma, and it is a major attractant for Monarchs!
