Description:

I took this picture at my local lake. These fellas are just chilling on the railing. They are Ring- Billed Gulls and they are called this by the distinctive black band around their bills. These are down here for the winter season months. As you can see they are in their non breeding plumage.

Habitat:

Lakes, Grocery store parking lots, reservoirs, and many other urban areas and wetland areas
