Nuttall Rabbit

Sylvilagus nuttallii

Description:

One of four approx 4 inch long babies of almost total gray color. Seemed active and to have left the nest.

Habitat:

Empty nest sighted underneath very tall, thick plantings in a raised flower bed. They were feeding heavily on the plants. Also discovered a hole which they may have been using.

Notes:

Parent was nowhere in sight.
