This carnivorous plant that traps small insects by using specialized glands on the surface of its basal leaves. The grass was too dense to get a good look at the leaves

Habitat:

Grassy, moist path at Hal Scott Regional Preserve and Park

Notes:

The last photo shows an unbloomed flower that was eaten by an insect. It shows a mouth-like part of the flower on the inside.
