If we find out that a submitted spotting is of a critically endangered species in the wild, we will zoom out the map and drop the location pin at a different location. This way, exact coordinates will not be available. I have done this for you in this case as timber rattlesnakes are an extremely sensitive species that need and deserve our protection!

Yes he's still in the wild, my husband caught him while camping in the national forest. We alerted the rangers, who promptly removed him from the camping area. He was such a colorful handsome snake!
