House Wren

Troglodytes aedon

Description:

I don't know much about House Wrens but they are easy to tell apart from the rest of the birds in the bird boxes I monitor. House Wrens use thicker twigs instead of grasses, and they build their nest all the way up to the entrance hole. Their eggs are whitish with lots of brown spots.
