Congratulations Mohamed, your Green Sea Turtle has been chosen as Spotting of the Day for World Turtle Day:

"Today is #WorldTurtleDay! World Turtle Day was created by non-profit organization American Tortoise Rescue to help celebrate and protect turtles and tortoises and their disappearing habitats. The emblematic Green Sea Turtle (Chelonia mydas) continues to experience population decline, due to harvesting for meat and eggs, incidental capture through fishing, and habitat degradation or loss. In spite of long time and ongoing worldwide protection efforts, green turtles remain classified as Endangered on the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species. Green sea turtles are still present in the Arabian Gulf, the warmest sea in the world, with nesting sites currently monitored in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iran, and the UAE. In our Spotting of the Day, you can discover a green sea turtle laying eggs on Karan Island, a marine protected area in Saudi Arabia".

What a special spotting here, Mohamed! Great series capturing a wonderful natural phenomenon.

No problem auntnance123, I delete my photo with the turtle and changing the description

What a wonderful series of a magnificent animal. Unfortunately the first photo is not appropriate for PN. If you could crop it to focus on the turtle it would be fine; otherwise, in keeping with the spirit and purpose of Project Noah, we would ask that it be deleted.
