Florida Coreopsis

Coreopsis floridana

Description:

Order: Asterales > Family: Asteraceae. As the name implies, this tickseed is endemic to Florida, confined mostly to the southern part of the state but is found near the coasts further north. The flower is easily the largest of the native coreopsis O have seen but the plant has a tendency to lean when in bloom.
