I'd also check out this species: http://bugguide.net/node/view/11615/bgim...
The only difference is that the SLW has rounded wings, while the wings of LLB are angular.

There is actually a "enucleata" form, which is similar to this.

Thanks jacob - it certainly looks like a match. Is there a lot of variation in color or is this just an old faded specimen do you think?

This looks to me as a variation of the large lace-border, though you may want to confirm with BAMONA, as species of genera Scopula and Idaea are very similar. Here is the link I am going from: http://bugguide.net/node/view/599251
