American Crocodile

Description:

These crocs are famous for their size. They are a normal attraction for tourists in this particular river. The largest measured speciman here has been 18' or 5.5 meters long. They are often fed and that may account for their robust size.

Habitat:

They inhabit waters such as mangrove swamps, river mouths, fresh waters, and salt lakes, and can even be found at sea
