Also I do not think there is a "k" in chicory, and here is the scientific name, Cichorium intybus

The leaves are best young or blanched, achieved by blocking the sunlight from them. You can certainly add some color to your salad by removing the petals from the flowers. The root can be prepared as you would any root vegetable.I have some family in Logan, know any Wyricks?
