Small brown/black/gray amphibian. These toads have lots of black 'warts' scattered over their body. Beautiful gold & black eyes.
Forest floor in wooded areas.
Saw this Fowler's Toad while hiking at First Landing State Park. It was kind enough to sit perfectly still while I snapped a few photographs. These photos were taken with a Canon EF100-400 f/4-f/5.6 lens mounted on a Canon Rebel T2i.
