Leafhopper

Description:

A yellow and orange Leafhopper of about 5 mm in length. The first 3 pictures are of one individual which looks like a female. Pictures 4 and 5 are of a 2nd individual of 4 mm. The pattern is the same for both, however the coloring is different, with white instead of yellow within the black lines. This might be the male. Family Cicadellidae.

Habitat:

Roadside bushes, Km. 16, Highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez.
