Rufous-Naped Sparrow

Description:

Found from Mexico to Tierra del Fuego, the Rufous-Collared Sparrow has an extremely large range. It is commonly found around humans, and has an extremely diverse set of vocalizations. Its bold face pattern and rufous nape make it distinctive, not likely to be confused with any other species. It's food choices are similar to those of most other sparrows, it chooses to feed on seeds and small arthropods.
