Perithemis tenera
A small dragonfly with a short abdomen compared to the wings. Males are bright orange with orange wings except for the red markings on the leading edges.
This one was obelisking at the garden pond. Dragonflies perch erect , like an obelisk, to reduce the heat gain from the sun on their bodies. They also will hang down from the underside of a leaf to cool themselves.
