I went into the garage, at 7:00 a.m. in the morning, to take the garbage out. As I walked into the garage, I saw a large beetle, resting on the garage floor. I picked this beetle up, and brought it inside my house with me, so I could take some photos of it. This beetle, was a dark, reddish brown color. It's head, thorax, and elytra, was very glossy. This beetle, was one and one fourth of an inch long, and five eighths of an inch wide.
I found this beetle, resting on the garage floor.
