Maine Gray Tree Toad

Hyla versicolor

Description:

Gray and sticky. It can crawl on our deck or climb the side of the house or windows.

Habitat:

Woods, swamp and comes close to the house. I imagine that it hangs out by our rope lights so it can eat bugs.

Notes:

This toad was hidden on our deck throughout the day. It is a night mover. You could hear it clicking if you got too close.
