Crazy Cup Moth

Doratifera pinguis

Description:

This small pale yellow moth kept performing ridiculous acrobatics.
A type of Limacodidae. About 24mm long.

Habitat:

On a footpath adjacent to a national park. Probably drawn to night lights. Dandenong Ranges NP.

Notes:

Just had to snap and hope some were clear enough for an ID. Yet to confirm species.... suspecting Doratifera pinguis
Confirmed. Also called 'Pale Cup Moth'
