Emperor Angelfish

Pomacanthus imperator

Description:

This beautiful angel fish was spotted at 28 meters inside a cave, as the adults usually are. I loved that is was surround by hundreds of orange fish to give a nice contrast between the blues and greens of the angel fish. The juvenile emperor angelfish is also stunning, but rather than stripped the lines are "dark blue with electric blue and white rings (wikipedia)."

Habitat:

Coral Reef. Found at Kerby's Rock
