Two-striped Telamonia (Jumper Spider)

Telamonia dimidiata

Description:

This is the cutest spider I have seen. Pale to the point of translucence. A design in maroon marks the abdomen...a circlet on the head.

Habitat:

Suntaley Khola is a remote hilly and forested area by the River Murty in the Dooars region of West Bengal, India. This species was seen in the garden of the resort.

Notes:

It had rained and from the wing next to it I suppose it had feasted on termites though I did not really see any; termites do come out after the rains.
