There are no images of this on bugguide & only photos of a pinned specimen on bamona so I'm guessing this is an uncommon species?

It's the first time I've seen this particular species & the 4th different species I've found in the exact same spot over the past week! I've discover if if blow very gently on them they will usually reveal their underwings for a few seconds.

How interesting that the white markings disappear before reaching the outer forewing. Beautiful!
