Hyperchiria sp.
I was unable to find a species which had four definitively dark lines on the forewing. Many of them had the third line down from the top faded.
Shares a lot of similarities with Arguda insulindiana.
Could this be a Lasiocampidae species?
Congratulations Eduardo, this awesome moth has been chosen to represent South America in the blog today! http://blog.projectnoah.org/

Que mariposa fantástica, Eduardo. Por favor, coloque-a também na missão "Moths of the world - National moth week".
I had thought this was a photo of a leaf as I scrolled though the list, only to later glimpse the name! I'm astounded by this beautiful creature. Nature is always bound to surprise us. Great shot!
Found this but it didn't take me to a species name.
