Oh geez! That's pretty crazy. Stumbled across this fella on a photography trip, had to follow him for a few yard before he settled down and let me get three shots off.

Glad I could help. Skippers can be tricky. Some look so similar that they have to be distinguished by their reproductive parts under a microscope!

This is a species of Skipper butterfly! Most likely this is a type of Grass Skipper:
