Butterfly

Description:

When i photographed this I though it was a Skipper but the hear and antennae look like the Blue-spot Hairstreak I had just photographed Skippers are by far the fastest of butterflies but even so only around 20 flaps a second and this exposure was 1/1600 sec which normally freezes movement so I am surprised their is such a blur, perhaps it flicks its wings much faster than they move when flying.

Habitat:

Wooded area at foot of waterfall surrounding a stream (Rio Duraton).
