Description:

Family: Geometrid. A very untypical geometrid in appearance, wings translucent, with light spots on forewings.

Habitat:

Eastern North America. Flight: May - September. Host Plants: Maples (Acer) and violets (Viola).

Notes:

Size: 1.5". 3:47 pm EST. Temp: 96. Observed on garden area hardscape.
