Description:

Highly variable. Greener in the east. Those in Texas tend to be a little browner. Tailed underside. Forewing postmedian white spot row aligned. Hindwing apple green (eastern) to yellow green (western) with 2 white antemedian spots, and outer margin with white trim (eastern) or with irregular postmedian white line edged inwardly with red-brown (western)

Habitat:

Always close to (or on) junipers or other evergreens.
