Description:

Fruiting bush at a rest stop in Maine. Has magenta blooms that are mostly shriveled. A species of rose native to eastern Asia, in northeastern China, Japan, Korea and southeastern Siberia, where it grows on the coast, often on sand dunes.

Habitat:

Cultivated.

To be clear it definitely is not the Nootka rose, but it is a similar species.
