Bufo woodhousii
Adult Bufo woodhousii can range in size from 5-12 cm (2-5 in). This one was about 5 cm (2 in). Medium brown with a light belly and a light mid-dorsal stripe.
This small toad was in the local pocket park. There are planters with native vegetation. The park has a large drainage canal that goes to Lake Lewisville.
The photo was taken with a flash at about 9pm at night.
