Found in NYC

Notes:

The only notable moth for me during Moth Week and it was dead :( I'm still keeping the dream alive (and my eyes open) for more moths!

Jacob, I had no idea! That's wild. Thanks for sharing. Moth Week has been awesome and I'm so glad we all got to be a part of the very first one! I'm looking forward to 51 more weeks of moth hunting until next year's Moth Week :)

Awesome find, Yasser! I just learned this moth, in its eastern reigon can only be distinguished by the Sycamore Tussock Moth by genitalia dissection. You can read more here: http://bugguide.net/node/view/541

That's right bayucca! One thing is for sure, Moth Week has made me much more observant of the little flying things that I see at night :) It's amazing what we find if we only pause to look. Congrats again on your recognition. You truly deserved it!
