Haliaeetus leucocephalus
This Bald Eagle was an adult that was about 30 inches in height and had a wingspan of approximately 6 feet. The head and tail were bright white and the bill and talons were yellow. The body and wings were dark brown.
The eagles were seen along the coast, inland ponds and pine forest areas. They nested in tall pines.
