Vermillon Flycatcher

Pyrocephalus rubinus

Description:

Males are a bright red to orange red. With a dark eye mask and dark brown back to tail. Females have brown backs, light brown on face with a light colored stripe over the eye. Light colored underside with faded streaks and orange vent.

Habitat:

These were spotted along a flat riparian woodland area near a lake.
