Spiny Leaf Insect

Extatosoma tiaratum

Description:

Found this little guy during the day in the same tree as the one I found the night before (with so many of the leaves bitten I'm sure there were tons of them in there). The last pic shows how small and how well it blends in.

Awesome. They are so hard to photograph. Well done.

Thanks, was fun to watch while it tried to stay camouflaged and move to other leaves.
