I would have to do that in Spanish. I think a better idea would be to ask Eulalia next time I see her on here. She probably knows most of the flowers around here. I'll see if she has any photos of this plant.

Hahaha...no clue at all. But I would start by checking to see if there are any online plant listings for your region...for example google Wildflowers of Valencia.

Thanks Lisa, I have changed the name. Any clues as to which of the 500 or so species it might be? Very few temperate plants manage to survive our summers here, most of them would be cooked by now! We get similar temperatures to you but long droughts.
